Hi, I’m Samantha, the artist behind the bench. Urth & Flame is an adornment practice rooted in Earth, element, and remembrance. Each piece is intuitively handcrafted in small batches or as
one-of-a-kind, shaped by organic textures and guided by nature’s cycles rather than trend or haste.
Working primarily with Australian gemstones and gold, alongside consciously sourced stones from overseas, I create jewellery that honours beauty with depth; pieces designed not only to be worn, but to be felt. These jewels serve as talismans. They’re quiet reminders of your innate connection to the land, your body, and your inner wisdom.
Urth & Flame is a fusion of all that I am and have been. The work is formed not only by tools and technique, but by listening: to stone, to place, and to the subtle whispers that arise when we slow down enough to remember. Urth & Flame invites you to reclaim your wild, creative nature, and to carry meaning with you, always.
In-Person Creative Jewellery Workshops
Located in Southport, Gold Coast

A deeply personal, relaxed one-on-one jewellery-making experience held in my cosy home studio. This is your time to slow down, create with intention, and design a completely unique sterling silver piece.
You’re welcome to arrive with a vision of what you’d like to create, or you can turn up and let the design unfold naturally on the day.
I’ll guide you through some organic textures and process in a calm, supportive space.
Once your wax mould is complete, it is sent to my trusted caster. When it returns, I hand-finish your piece with care, polish, and final details.
Turnaround is approximately 4 weeks.
Price: $295
Includes: Guidance, materials for wax carving, professional casting in sterling silver (up to a certain weight - heavier pieces are charged per gram over), hand-finishing and jewellery ritual on collection.
Workshops are relaxed, intimate, and deliberately small to provide a grounded, personalised experience from start to finish.

Create together in this intimate two-person workshop, perfect for friends, partners, sisters or mother-daughter dates. You’ll both be guided through the process in a relaxed, home-based studio setting, with space to connect, create and enjoy the experience side by side.
You can come with individual ideas in mind, or arrive open and let the creative flow guide you. Each of you will design your own unique piece in wax, which is then sent off for casting.
Once your pieces return, I hand-finish them with care and intention. Turnaround is approximately 4 weeks, and you’ll be notified as soon as your jewellery is ready for collection.
